How to treat Hypothermia Scum How to cure Hpyothermia **UPDATED**
Heya guys!

How do you treat Hypothermia in Scum? Phase 1, 2 & 3
Posting my experiences & Tips on How to cure Hypothermia Phase 1 I always seem to get & treatments I've used to try help you guys out too in your travels in Scum! This will apply to Phase 2 & 3 as well.

FEEL FREE TO POST YOUR CURES & EXPRIENCES TOO BELOW :)
**Warning**
NO Toxic, Pleb or idiotic comments on my post will be tolerated, you will be Blocked ;) General Debate is completely fine :) this is a DETAILED Long-ish post for Experienced to Nood Players to Understand more easily! So if you don't like that or your brain doesn't have the compacity to comprehend that then simple go away if you don't appreciate Helpful information. :)

*Hypothermia is the Opposite of Hyperthermia lets get this CLEAR First for those that don't know or fully understand... but I will be talking about Mainly HypOthermia in Scum
Also Remember the game is Early Access & I Have noticed % Stats for Vitamins, Minerals, Deficiencies, Sicknesses etc CAN Bug out/freeze or not shown that it has dropped in % but Has in some cases... ok, so..

- HypOthermia: is when you are cold af & freezing your A S S off... most likely in this game from the Rain, Swimming, your cloths being wet basically, moving around slowly too much/camping too much or being Under Dressed on Cold nights/days in cases that I've seen so far..
- HypERthermia: is when you are too hot & are over heated, a type of Heatstroke & Dehydration... in this game (I personally haven't experienced yet..) is caused exhaustion, from Running too much with to much Clothes/Gear on in result your Character will get heatstroke from traveling/running for long periods of time Especially when you are Caring too much Gear! too heavy while running etc.

-- Treating Hypothermia --

. First off, Hypothermia is a slow Process.. & can Not be cured instantly that I know of... You just have to ride it out in the right way(s)

. Drinking Water it a must! any Vitamin pills, Vitamin Boosters, Fruits, Vegetables (YES LADS Eat your Veggies!), Plants, Mushrooms, Fungi, Cooked Meats etc.. ALWAYS COOK your Meat & NEVER eat Raw meats!! You will become Deficient of Vitamins & Minerals under your % Stats & trust me you don't want that either it makes you sick that way & need specific pills to treat that as well..! All of these types of things may possibly Help the slow process be SLIGHTLY faster.. but every little bit counts in Scum right?.

. You will notice it will say At First "Hypothermia 1,2 or 3 (Untreated)".... a Fire on it's own WON'T Change it to.."Hypothermia (Treated)"... to Change it from "Untreated" to "Treated" all you need is Antibiotics as it will HELP starting to cure your Hyperthermia process much quicker. Antibiotics helps with the likes of Colds/being sick.(Antibiotics commonly found in Police building, Stores/petrol stations, Hospitals but I mainly found mine in Houses.. in the bathroom Mirror Cabinets! Cardboard Boxes, Kitchen or sometimes Trash bags.. although Antibiotic can be tricky to find I do highly recommend having them because you will catch Hypothermia Phase 1 regularly & easily in this game so far, they come in Pill Bottles & Tabs/rows & try Not to Over Dose either..... take just 1 every now & then guys!) ( Also when inside buildings I recommend to ALWAYS Check your "Vicinity" by pressing Tab or what ever your Inventory button is, you will always find stuff lying around that you won't physically See, but your "Vicinity slot" beside your Inventory slots will find all types of stuff for you...! I've found a lot of meds by using this method because they are too small to see lying around amongst the trash scattered everywhere!!)

. Bee Pollen Pills help balance out body temp to a stable temperature as well!! will be Very Helpful for Hypothermia & Hyperthermia! ( Can Be found mainly in Under Ground Bunkers! Type "Loot Map Scum" in Google for an Interactive Map Showing the best places for Loot!! You're welcome)

. Once you have Or haven't popped some Medication.. you need to get a Fire going ASAP to prevent Phase 2 & 3 accruing. (your Fire MUST be inside a building or a tent IF it is Raining... the rain will naturally put out your fire out side if you try to start one. Being inside MAY also help with cold Winds but I'm not 100% on that one..)

. Always have Warm items of clothing for example Balaclavas/Face Masks, Wool Jackets, Beanies etc for Cold Situations.. so if your clothes become Wet for any reason you can pull out your Dry Warm Clothes, get a fire going &/or start running around to heat up your Core Body Temp!!

. Running Around in general a lot will increase Core Body Temperature!! Just try not to over do it with running though or you'll catch Heatstroke/Hyperthermia as well..! You can run around in the rain but it will take much longer get rid of hypOthermia I wouldn't recommend doing this but sometimes in situations we just have to.. but try to run around in the dry to increase your core body temp you want to stay as Dry as you Possibly can!

. Once you have your Fire going you will Need to Take Off your Clothes to Dry them out faster placed around the fire.. but you'll also need Dry clothes to put on in order to warm up the quickest way or to prevent you from getting Colder, instead of being next to naked! Keeping in mind warming up from Hypothermia Is a Slow process... but my method will help you eventually. (this is a SURVIVAL game after all!) It's always best to take off Wet Clothes when you have Hypothermia.. it's just Logic people & Scum will become even more in-depth later on as it progresses. (I recommend caring a Wool shirt or jacket of some kind in your inventory, along with a Beanie & anything else your able to carry with you in your Limited Inventory Space)

. if you don't have any Dry Clothes spare or lying around where ever you maybe which is highly likely in most cases, I would recommend Trying taking off just a few layers of clothing & placing those by the fire to dry for a Decent amount of time while still in some amount of wet clothing so you don't get colder quicker when naked.. once you think your few clothes by the fire maybe dry take your remaining gear off & swap them over for the dry clothes & dry out you remaining wet clothes.
This is the best ideas I have for you guys so far from my own experiences, I hope it helps you in any way because I know how frustrating it can be sometimes Especially when your % Stats freeze of Bug out..! lol
I've been lucky enough to not experience Phase 3 Hypothermia just yet but I imagen you'd most likely need more than one fire going, plenty of water, medication & foods to combat Phase 3.

-- Treating HypERthermia --

I've heard the best way to treat Heatstroke in Scum is taking off ALL of your Clothes/Gear & submerge yourself completely in water & stay under water for as long as possible doing this multiple times in attempt to lower your over all body temperature, drinking ALOT of water before, during & after being submerged in water, I imagen antibiotics would also help a lot in this case as well because you are sick after all! laying down in the shade so you're not in the water too long & catch HypOthermia as well!! lol, in which case it is most likely Bugged having caught Hyperthermia & Hypothermia at the same time.
Bee Pollen Pills help too.

*Side Notes*

. Try not to go out in the rain unless you have a Rain Coat, warm head gear, pants, boots, gloves etc.. even with all of the max amount of clothing you can put on you can Still catch hypothermia from your clothes being soaking wet! but a rain coat will protect you some what..
. Scum is a complex game & it's only going to get even more technical as time progresses! You can see when creating your character there are Skills & aspects etc you can't yet modify or change, I even see options for driving Vehicles there & more!!
. this is my best info I can put forward to you guys so far.. I have been experimenting with things like Mushrooms, Plants, Fungi etc in attempt to find Natural Cures for Hypothermia Phase 1 with no luck so far... idk if it is even in the game or not.. but any decent information i'll post here unless it's something big then i'd create a new post!
. Remember Scum is a SURVIVAL game! Not so much a "Shooter game"... the goal is so Survive & increase all of the Stats on your Character to make him/her a much stronger survivor! also increase your Fame Points.. to your possible Release from the island I guess??? idk tbh i'm just throwing that bit out there.. haha

. *DISCLAIMER* this is my best info I can put forward to you guys so far.. I have been experimenting with things like Mushrooms, Plants, Fungi etc in attempt to find Natural Cures for Hypothermia Phase 1 with no luck so far... idk if it is even in the game or not.. but any decent information i'll post here unless it's something big then I'd create a new post! I hope this long af post has helped you guys in some way shape or form! & remember to help others along the way, just be careful who you help! lol take care & enjoy Scumming!

Your boy Kurtis, out!

Hypothermia you can cure by just run around, or make a campfire and put on all ur clothes.
Hyperthermia you can cure by taking off all ur clothes and lay in the shades.
Worked with me and with others so it should work with you as well.
Hope it helped you a bit.

yeah great novel. TL;DR Most likely the remedy not implemented in game yet. I have not had either affliction yet so I cant recommend solution.
