How do i swim ?

I tried swimming first time, but all my char is doing is stepping in the water, swim 3 meters and then swim on the ground till drowning. How could i swim upwards ???
My gear was just an axe and a baseballbat....

You have to unequip everything including clothes.

You cant. Imagine swimming with all your clothes on carrying an axe and a baseball bat.

If you're interested, the building on the island near the dam is a church. I swam out there naked, It took a good 5 minutes... And the puppets underwater near the shore almost killed me before I could search.

It has a few military crates outside, but nothing special just the usual random loot. That, and you can't bring any of it back XD

no problem. I was swimming with full clothes and combat boots in RL.

I think this is a thing for the Devs. Its not realistic that you only can swim nearly naked....

Now add a backpack, axe , baseball bat etc.. Youll sink :D

you swim like any other game if geared. to get air and surface, make your character straight verticle and hold in space (jump) til you surface and hold it there for air but don't move.

I would love to see someone try swim battlegear on least 10metres.. Shotgun, Akm, tons of stuff and mp5 on backpack plus helmet, jacket, tactical shirt, military pants, and combat boots... Impossible..

I should be like minimalistic clothes not shoes and just 1 weapon and possibly knife. Nothing else..

Nobody said that you must swim full geared with 10 stones in your backpack ffs !

Yes it's posible.
Whitout all the gear or backpack.
Or up with empty backpack. Then come back down one by one all the heavy things

I hope they work on this later. I dont want to swim naked,came back and all my stuff is bugged away or stolen...
