UE4-SCUM game problem

I was playing single player , I died, game froze because I was trying to sellect where I wanted to revive and it would not let me select. I had to turn off my computer in order to get out and start again. When I started the game, it let me click continue and I got this message:
The UE4-SCUM Game has crashed and will close.
Fatal error:
(File:C:\Work\Projects\UnrealEngineSource\SCUMDevKit\Engine\Source\Runtime\Core\Private\Serialization\Archive.cpp)
(Line: 554)
BulkData compressed header read error. This package may be corrupt!
That's the message, word and everything for word and everything.
Can anyone help? I uninstalled the game and reinstalled and still got the same message.

Ahhh... The devs are still trying to figure out how to get their SP side of the game working properly. Luckily we know it can be done....Ark does it well enough.

You probably need to delete the additional folders that Windows and any games uninstaller never uninstall. Not sure but usually in a hidden folder called appdata under your user folder in your root drive. Somewhere in there should be a SCUM folder that probably needs deleted. The folder usually has all the players saved data, and user settings.
