I'm running the game just fine with the GeForce GTX 970. I've had to lower some settings from epic to high, but outside of that the game looks great with the 970, and will probably get better when the developers begin optimzation.

Rig:

16 GB RAM
Intel Core i7-3770 @ 3.40 GHz

Alot will fall on your CPU, then the server performance as well.. FX8350 here 4.8ghz with a 970 SSC in 1080p with the EPIC preset and blur off and holding 60 till the server takes a dump, restarting you game wil fix the issue..

I will also add, for whatever reason my game will also always launch in Borderless < this weill kill performance, at least on my end.. So I always do the set it to windowed when i get in then back full and all is good..

GTX 970 4GB, small i7 2600k on 3,40GHz, 16GB Ram.
At around 55 fps till the drops set in, after a while, didn´t even notice a difference between night and day. Just lowered one setting (don´t know which one it exactly was) a very little bit and had 10-15 fps more, then the next update brought around 10fps too.

Glad I got the 1070ti.on a i7 8700k Preset epic settings, with a few turned up that weren't. Getting 70+fps all day and night, with the standard load stutters, and the occasional drop for unknown reasons into the 40s, but usually above 60. Scum Runs much better than any ea title released on the Unreal engine, and runs better than those same ea titles years after they have had optimizaionts. Only tells you that the Ark and Conan devs don't know what they are doing.

Runs okay on low with -USEALLAVAILABLECORES and -sm4 launch options and other additional tweaks listed on the forum here. 50-20 fps
