How to check how many players are on server?

Since refreshing the server list often does not work as expected and favorite servers are not the first to get updated and I also want to check how many players are online while I am on the server:

Good question, yesterday I spent 6 hours on a server, made it all the way up to #1 with 500 Fame Points but then I felt like other players were not progressing at all (looking at the events-tab). So there I stood, on top of a police station, all decked out with the fanciest gear, waiting for a poor soul to walk into my town, suddenly realising I'm probably the only guy on the effin' server.

shift+tab don t work for some reason....it won t show list of players on server, only recent list, but not from this game

From what I've heard, the events-page doesn't show you realtime information. As in, the names you see there are not necessarily playing at that time.

Haven't tried shift/tab though.

The event's page only shows all players who have entered the server, not real-time online players.

Only way is through the server list.

Eventlist only show the top 32 fame players ever played on the server.
It's no list of players that are currently online.

I think the not existing playerlist is a point to prevent streamsniping.

Please add a way to check the player amount while on the server.
The server list doesnt refresh the servers that I am interesting in.

Strange how no one talks about this but you used to check and see the players you are playing with realtime with ease, and this new steam overhaul removes it; Now I have to rejoin a server just to see a person from the server's profile and its bothering. Valve pls fix.

I'm not sure what the problem here is, but you can easily go to battlemetrics and search the specific server up.

If you dont know the name of the server? Well, you should figure it out. If you are in game, add it to favorites, then it will be listed in your favorites list.

or just simply search your server name on google and look for this e.g https://www.battlemetrics.com/servers/scum/2624904 this is how I monitor the player number in the server
