Wooden planks
Can someone explain how I make these please.
Trying to build a wooden box.. but it need planks.. I cant figure out how to make planks lol

Once you have cut down a tree (not a sapling or small shrub, a large tree) several logs should be on the ground. Find the largest among them (usually with white bark) and click on those.

You need to use the largest logs, not just any log. For example, any of the white logs will work. You'll learn which ones it takes.

Yeah chop down a tree is not a great way to explain things.. I've chopped down many trees and I dont get planks.

Yes, now chop the logs. if those logs won't chop find another large tree & try again.

Yep there we go.. I was cutting at least in my opinion.. large enough trees..
But cutting the larger ones again.. gave me an option to cut into planks on the logs..

Wow.... after all that I cant even craft it.
I've read you need inteligence to craft a simple wooden box..
Any idea if I can up my inteligence somehow?
Without creating a new toon?

It's not intelligence that you need, it's survival skill. Best way I know of is to cut down trees, but it could take a long while. Maybe you can get a friend to make you one?

Yeah cheers, managed to meet up with friends and they can all craft boxes.
Ill just keep cutting down trees and see if that helps.
