How do you cure “hyperthermia”?
Resting in the shadow, drinking and getting naked doesn´t work. I tried swimming with no clothes on and this did nothing either.

So how do you cure “hyperthermia”? Please no hypotheses, just facts.

Who cured hyperthermia and how it works?

Hyperthermia basically means that you are too cold. You need warmth. Fire etc.

No. Thats Hypothermia.

Hyperthermia is elevated body temperature. Jump into cold water, drink water, take off your clothes, fill a tub with ice.

TheFrackingDane, i know its hard....but please try.....

Please stop harassing me mate. Getting a bit tired of it. Grow up.

hypothermia is when your body loses heat faster than it can produce heat, while hyperthermia is your body over heats

O.k., so after the definition of HYPERthermia is well known now:

How to cure it?

Unfortunately some logical procedures....

"Resting in the shadow, drinking and getting naked doesn´t work. I tried swimming with no clothes on and this did nothing either."

.... don´t work.

I cured mine by drinking a bunch of water at a pump. I was also in the shade while drinking, not sure if shade influenced it too."

Yea, they do work, try being in water for a while, i stood in a river for abour 5 minutes until i started to see my body temp drop. Drinking water also helps. You need to give it some time.

Sprinting all over the place overheats your body.

Unequip hot clothes, sit down and chill for a moment and make sure you're hydrated.

i go to a cabin or at least indoors.
take of everything and lly down.
cured it twice this way.
havent gotten it for a long time tho. dont wear too much clothes
the respirator makes you overheat and the balaclava aswell although not so much.
also wearing shorts beneath your pants will make you overheat fast.
when going south on the map remove some clothes or dont sprint the whole time.
or you can read one of the other threads about this
