The U.S. is the only country IN THE WORLD, that use the Imperial system as its "standard".
Literally the entire WORLD, is metric.
Consider this a very good time to learn.
Knowledge protects. Ignorance endangers.
I'm from the EU and use C and KG but i wouldn't mind an option at all. It's a very reasonable suggestion.
Well the game plays in croatia as far as i know. So it wouldn´t be that reasonable.
I'm European and I can also convert to Imperial system, even though I don't really need to or probably ever will. Took me about 20 minutes to learn.
Yeah for the hud it might be okay. but the actual Items would still be in metric. After all, theres so much else to do, so this will not happen anyway.
exactly, that game shouldn't even be in more than one language. Just learn whatever language the devs put the game in first.
Thanks so much.
I was expecting this response, but that doesn’t really matter to me when I was born into a country with approximately 325.7 million people who learned the United States Standard. I don’t care why “the States should be like the rest of the world because x system is better”, but rather if the developers plan to in the future to display units for their American players, as most games have the setting for both measurements (it's not unreasonable to ask).
Totally not unreasonable but you do sometimes crash spaceships into planets due to bad conversions. Best to learn both. :D
To convert from C to F, just double C and add 32.
To convert from F to C, just subtract 32 and cut in half.
It's not perfect, but it gets me by just fine.
This is a life skill, not a SCUM skill. You'd do well to learn it.
As a Canadian, I prefer degrees C, lbs, and feet/nches for short distances, or KMs for large distances.
Either way, I'm completely happy and comfortable with either.
