how the crap do i craft this

trying to make rope. you need 5 long wooden sticks. i cut a shrub for long wooden sticks. but have no inventory to carry all 5 sticks. how do i get all 5 long sticks with me to make this freaking rope? thanks in advance.

It also works when the sticks are on the ground

You could craft it at the point the long wooden sticks are lying around (you can craft with items which are not in your inventory) or you make a pack of wooden sticks (you can craft that, too) so you do not need so much space in inventory.

Yes, I think its called Wood rope or something along those lines. I crafted some last night.

It's called "bundle of xxx sticks"

As long as all the ingredients are in your vicinity you will be good. You dont have to have them in your inventory.

there is tree bark rope. but i need 5 long sticks for this. cannt get all 5 long sticks together in one place to make it. i cant carry it due to it not fitting in inventory. and when i chop two bushes, they dont drop all of them.

If ya need to get the last few long sticks ya can just thrown em into your hand and carry it over one by one. Did that when I wanted to make the lean-to. Aside from that, it's easier to make the improvised rope from cloth strips since zombies provide ya with all the dirty clothes you could rip with sharpish things.

I chopped down a tree and had a bunch of different wood around. Can also make some with clothes to if the wood one isn't working for you. Ive only done the wood ones so far though myself so it def works.

wow thats annoying. i cut a few bushes and then try and remember where the others were lying on the ground. very messy crafting system.
