Have lighter and makeshift fire and torch but they will not light ?

I used the fire drill on the makeshift fire to light it, once the fire is placed and you have the fire drill in hand you must hold the interact key when the makeshift fire is highlighted and select light fire

Bare in mind I tried to light the torch in the same fashion and I could not. Still haven't figured that part out and it's getting dark!

I think i got it figured out you need to make tinder i have not done it yet but yea.

u need to left click on the lighter then right click on the fire, same goes for most things like can opener and cans, some things like weapons u need to be holding them to load them
