On a existing character, you can't. You do have an option to create a new character if you want that other name really badly.

Is there any update on this topic? As yesterday guy changed the name as we had ingame argument and have it back to old nickname like 5 mis later...

I wish we get a chance to change a nickname on the server wipe days if chars are not wiped too. Some of us want to change names after a month or two...
