Not too bad but I think this would turn SCUM into any other game. Especially the minimap and notifications.

Is it bad to take the best from other games? Now it's like envirnoment and you and do what you want without any motivation. :steamhappy:

That's good but for the Need for Speed, definitely not for SCUM.

It's certainly not. Better well stolen than self-invented badly. Though, I personally don't want to see a minimap in SCUM.

Players might change the HUD layout as soon as mod support comes out but in my opinion a minimap is a no-go.

I like the concepts, but the implementation is far too prominent for my taste. The HUD should be a supplement, not a focus - I don't want things popping up and ruining my view.

Also, not a fan of the digital/live map idea as a whole. I think this should be deprecated in favor of a paper map that you have to look at when it's in your hands. Far better realism, big change to play style, but would overall make the mini map a non-starter for me.

Just noticed ammo levels - definitely no. You don't get this in the real world, and since SCUM is not a run and gun game, this detracts heavily from realism for me in a world where you count your shots if you don't want to run out of ammo.

Bravo For : Daily Missions when pop-up.
But.. (would prefer in orange/Yellow color mixed with some Blue Sky & White)

This is what i would like to see implemented into

SCUM) Holographic Style : inventories

Every time, when we enter in a new location.....
Showing ex.. (Špickovina etc / in Yellow /Orange Color)
Same Goes for Subtitles.

Have done some modifications on some Screenshots
(And visually looks amazing!) (in my opinion)
Later, gonna send to Devs, when it's completely done!

Nicely done ! As CH3MiC mentioned above - the daily mission part is my favorite. I would definitely change the number font - the part with the water / hp display, looks a bit too arcady.

+1 For Name coloring
+1 For Daily Missions (!!)

For everything else: I like the HUD we have now muc better.

@Bunny: You said that the new Inventory Rework will bring a lot more Features into the Game. I just had an Idea. How about an invisible Quick Slot at the side of the HUD for BCU-Data?
So if you want to know how much % your Water has without constantly opening BCU you could bind this with a Key on 1 out of x Quick-Slots that you will see in your HUD. Same with Sicknesses, Muscle Mass, Temperature or whatever Data you need for your Tasks/Training/Environment. Would this be possible?

Looks like your everyday generic shooter. Horrible.
I´m totally okay with the one we have now. Looks less childish without the training wheel UI.

The UI should be as minimalistic as possible. Imho they should even remove the map and make it a collectible item, so players are forced to actually learn the environment.

Everything that the player cannot know by using his brain, walking around, looking and remembering shouldn´t be part of his database. That means you have to look at the city-limit sign for example if you want to tell your location.

Not sure but I can forward the suggestion to our programmers and see what comes out of it.

HUD is an important assisting & training tool for players.

I'm a big fan of HUD fades. It's great for those who want HUD at times but not always. Options to control what elements fade, how fast, ect would be best!

I have to be completely against the mini-map & any trackable elements on it for two main reasons...First, I'm sorry but its just lame, lol (I did apologize). Second, It would end up being hacked & used against us all by cheaters. This is the kind of thing hackers love the most, the devs setting up such a system makes it that much easier. With that in mind, consider some of the functions in game even now which hackers normally develop that can be & likely have been exploited for the use in cheats/hacks (That is nothing against SCUM or its devs, 100% of games suffer from cool features which become exploited this way)

I don't mind much of the other HUD elements & positioning you've shown...as long as there is also an option to disable them all &/or have parts fade out. Remember, some people don't want or need all of that. It maybe hardcore...but there will come a time when you are so tuned into your character, the weaponry & mechanics, you won't even need/want HUD & will instead prefer a clearer screenspace.
