Seems like its always windy too which is kinda annoying.
It was a mixed discussion but I think they are aware
So far today I managed to get about one 35 min session before rain, and just had another 15 minute session before rain. This creates lots of problems. You can't have a fire in the rain, so you have to cook inside. Cooking inside means you have to leave perishable items pretty much outside so they don't spoil.
I get that there is weather in the game... that's normal, but 5+ "storms" in one game day separated by clear, sunny skies is not weather. It's misery.
EDIT: I'm also really looking forward to those jump scares. That's what put me on to this type of game years ago. DayZ was the first game that actually made me feel real apprehension. Now SCUM has firmly taken that to another level.
Also just quit my third session of the day after about 40 minutes, Had the wind of the last storm dying off for 5 mins when I logged in, no wind and sun for 30 mins, then another rainstorm blew in. Couldn't avoid getting wet this time, so my next session will start with 10 mins of drying off before anything else, I guess.
Regionalizing weather on the map would be cool - i.e. it's snowing in the mountains, but bright and sunny on the coast. Given the topography of the map, this would be expected in weather patterns.

Drying off?! BAH! More Vodka!
All kidding aside, there were days living 30 miles east of San Francisco where it rained for three days straight. That was back in 1957 - 1982. I live in the southwest Sonoran Desert of Arizona now. Love the rain.
By the way Devs, when can I put a bear head on a spike? How about a deer head? A buck with it's horns?
Just happened AGAIN, third time today. Log in, sounds stormy but no rain. Cut some wood, made a fire, dried my stuff, stepped outside to rain. Literally 10 minutes without rain... just long enough to bother drying off.
If it's going to rain for days, let it rain for days. That's fine. Just don't space 30 minute rain storms 10 minutes apart.
Or, just don't dry off. Waste of time at this point. ;) I gave up on that and do what I want.
It's a known issue. Being wet all the time may have an effect in a future patch, but not yet.
