M82 Ammo
Hello guys, what bullets do m82 use? (50 cal isn´t getting in xD)

You need the 50 expecially for it.
You find them around in 5 bullets unit or an entire box.

I can´t see the needed ones in the crafting menu... Can you tell me the exact name of the bullet please?

Nope, you have to find it, there are two types, loose ammo can't be stacked and comes as 1 round only, the ammo in boxes comes as ten rounds in two stacks of 5 inside the box.
It and .45 ACP are the only rounds you cannot craft. And in the BMG's case that's probably going to stay that way. Ever see one irl? They're absolute huge. Three times the size of the next largest round in game.

Uhhh haven't tried it but reportedly it takes somewhere between 50-80 BMG rounds to down a sentry.

Around 70-80 or at least it was the last video i watched

But it's kinda pointless to take one down right now, you do get some FP as you're shooting it but there's no reward right now, they respawn as soon as you leave the area, imo they should stay off the map for an hour regardless

I wish that stuff was harder to find. In about two hours of looting bases I picked up 20+ rounds (2 boxes plus some loose rounds) and a mag for the M82. Plus I found 5 silencers and 4 scopes. Meanwhile I can't find a damn Mk18 anywhere >.>

Update: did another two circuits of the base and picked up 3 more boxes of M82 ammo >.> still no MK18. Wish I had someone to trade my 50 rds of M82 ammo (and one mag) to someone for a MK18.

Update 2: after a few more laps around the base I finally found a Mk18 and no more BMG. The RNG is super streaky. lol.

I have several packs of the ammo, but for some reason I can't unpack it.... LOL, so for now they are stacked in a box...maybe make an end table out of them.

I don't know if the m82 can chamber a round but I have two different 50Cal BMG rounds/icons one is single from opening a box and one can stack 5. Icons are different. Both say they're for m82 but I can chamber either. This game I haven't found an m82 clip unlike last game I couldn't find the gun.

Tldr? Can you chamber an m82 round or is my game glitched?

You need the mag to load a round into the M82. Load your single round stacks into a mag and when you unload the ammo from the mag it will stack to 5.
