Are new weapons and guns coming to the game?
I mean: G36, Uzi, Scar-L, AWP, Galil etc...

Mind you I'd like to see them sort the spawn for the existing weapons as some you hardly ever see.

Community is splitted on this. For many peeps "more guns" is the last thing they want to see. We have a lot of guns to kill each other. Performance, bugs, qol and especially things that are actually survival related are more important. In the end SCUM is meant to be a survival game. Technically gunplay and survival are 2 different things.

Yes i agree, would rather see some disases and illnesses more than guns.
More survival, more weather affections on tempature as your body reacts to different weather zones. Anything honestly - just no more guns atm.
So i agree completly with Faustus.

Fair points and the survival stuff is coming but on the other hand we get tights so no real harm OP asking for more guns now is there! lol

I don’t want to see any more guns until they add an improvised rifle. Something big, loud, showy muzzle blast, slow firing, large caliber, single-shot/breach loaded, inaccurate unless prone, 300m max range, simple cartridge-less ammo that doesn’t require advance survival.

It needs to be devastating to unarmored/soft targets up to 100m...certainly a one shot kill at 50m vs soft targets.

...just check the Damage most of the weapons deals against Players and realize that 90% of the weapons are completly useless as soon as your opponent has a vest. More weapons like suggested will be just more useless stuff to find.

e.g. MP5 deals only 20% of the M16 and can be deleted in my opinion.

While it’s true bugs and performance are necessary to launch the game, the fact is there’ll be a team dedicated to weapons and only weapons. So it can happen in parallel to the other things. They’ve said they recently brought on a weapo. Specialist to do motion capture modeling. So I’d assume any new weapons in the pipe will go through that process before we see them.

Naw, I just want a 18-19th Century, low-tech long rifle...but as an improvised rifle, I think lack of stealth needs to be part of its drawbacks. So a big, loud and visible muzzle signature.

A Winchester or an light MG would add something new. Can't think of other stuff realy. UZI ... G36 .... drive by's and lego weapons that melt on full auto. No thanks. How about tasers?
"None lethal weapon" as they say. Perfect to shoot your friend in the nuts.

Yeah, but ideally not a smooth bore, a rifled barrel for descent accuracy once you get that long gun stabilized when preferably fired prone...but even reasonably accurate when fired crouched.

Gun wobble/sway while moving would be atrocious!
