Hello :)
As already described, you can set appropriate countermeasures against strong winds.
If the wind is blowing from the left, you should increase the setting, i.e. + , if the wind is blowing from the right, you should go into the negative range.
But calculating that takes both practice and the skill of a decent scope. If you have an ACOG, briefly tap ctrl once while looking through the sight/scope, you will see how the device works and after some calculation time you will also receive the desired information such as wind direction, humidity and range.
With practice you can then determine how much deviation to expect at 100m. If an opponent is under 100m, you usually don't need to make any real adjustments for larger calibers, even at more than 100m this is usually not necessary (Kar98 or Mosin Nagant/SVD for example)
Smaller calibers are then much more susceptible, as you can see when using the M16 with the 5.56x45mm ammunition.
The suggestion of the practice area was not wrong either. When you visit this place you have precise targets on each of the distance markers where you can train how much deviation to expect.
I am sorry too, this was my bad. Ill lock this Topic.
