Database failed

I tried to make a new character but got the error that the database failed. Any ideas?

how to fix a database error when creating a character?

Ok so I went to the first server listed and made a new toon, no problem. Then went back to the private server and still get the "database operation failed".

The same Probs, many Chars have no Skills and after relogg, its still the same. This Chars can´t created a new Char database failed.

Seems to be happening on servers where I already have a character made.

the error is only in combination with the skill bugg Accounts, all other accounts can make a new Char. on our server.

I'm also having this issue. All skills set to ZERO, and I cannot create a new character. This happens only on one server, others I can create a new one.

Have you guys tried to delete your local database cache unter %localappdata%\SCUM\Saved\SaveFiles? Maybe that cache somehow got corrupted during the last few hotfixes.

Yeah, removed all local saves, verified all files, reinstalled EAC, new character with 100% unique name in case of clashes.
I can join servers I never played on. I can join servers I haven't played on in weeks but can't join servers I joined the morning/day of the update.

Server I'm looking to play on is updating right now so I'll come back in a bit and update this once its online again and I can see if resolved or not.

UPDATE EDIT: Still no joy. Can't connect to a server I have existing chars on. After clearing my saves/cfgs yesterday I don't have an option to just "Continue" but when attempting to join manually I don't get offered the continue or restart choice and must make a new char (I've no prob with that).

When trying to submit the char build though, I get either of the two error messages I was seeing yesterday. ("Connection Lost" or "Database Operation Failed!").
So, still can't get in but have found a fresh server to potter around in the meanwhile..

Server details in the above link if anyone can follow up to delete my player file/records (still assume that's the issue but could be way off).
Do devs have direct access? Do I need to ask the server admins to contact g-portal?

some people currently have the same problem with the database failed on our server, they already deleted the local savefiles........ but nothing
