Which "AK" rifle is the best?
So... there's like 3 or four "AK" rifles... what's the difference between them, and which one is best?

Someone told me that you can put a scope on one of the AK rifles, and it was as good as a sniper rifle, but with more rounds...

They all can shoot single or auto. They all share a dedicated rail and the short improvised rail, but the AK47 and AKM can use larger improvised rails and thus have more scope options. AK47 and AKM share ammo and clips, AKS uses unique clips and ammo. Only suppressors for all are the improvised types. Lastly, the AKS is the only one that will fit in the larger backpacks at the moment (this may change when we can rotate objects in storage in the future) allowing you to keep your hands and large weapon holsters free for other uses.

The AK47 has a folding stock, not sure if it is a little smaller than the AKM or not when storing in chests.

M

Both the 47 and M have great range. Pretty reliable to 400m... Not quite a good as a dragonuv, but more multi-purpose

You have an AKS 74u which is only good for close quarter combat IMO.. the AK47 you can attach a scope and multiple sights too.. and the AKM imo is a decent mid range gun to use iron sights.

Is there one with single fire option, scope, and a silencer?

AKS 74u is a sub-machine gun. The AKM is the modern version of the AK-47 (hence the M) but its basically the same.

They all have select fire, can mount scopes/sights and silencers afaik.
A developer of this app has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

Good answer Hatter, in-depth and informational. Marking it as the topic answer.

So... what is the actual difference between the AK47 and the AKM? It can't really be the same gun, with just a different skin?

For some reasons the devs wont confirm or deny if the weapon is the same except for the skin, this question has been asked many many times.

Hrm... Seems that I'll have to conduct tests... I wanted to avoid that, because I know how I am... darn it... ... ...
