i think you missed the remark of someone who does this consistently. this isn't luck, this is something else. I've been watching some pretty big name streamers post their content on their lock picking abilities and so far, no one has come close to this guy.
Not about the raid, that was all good. but it took over 10 people to do it. he hits the sweet spot almost EVERY time. That isnt RNG that is something else. Which is why im calling hack and hes not going to show anyone the key logs or what hes going running in the back ground to show how hes doing it which even screams more SUS. :D aka HACK. Prove me wrong.
The problem with all of this is its got a random element. Anything random can't be done with consistency that's why this smells fishy. You can be good enough to narrow the luck gap to some extent but in excess it becomes something else.
Ok I'll amend this. It seems to me hes got memory for which spots might proc then he's just testing each one until he hits the one that it is. I can see how this can be achieved through practice but i wouldn't be surprised if he has tiny hash marks where the spots are to help guide him. the speed is pretty high just to be based purely on memory. In either case this version of lock picking is nonsense anyway and should probably be changed in the long run.
I would also go on to suggest that this man make a map of these unlock points and sell it online while he can.
I absolutely agree with this statement, I've seen some people with hundreds of hours lock picking never even get close to this level of consistency.
Ive busted literally hundreds of golds and it does not go anything like that!
WTF
The problem is in the video this person is doing probes with zero visual shudders and modifying the next probe based on a what to a player would be a non-result (no shudders).
My theory is;
still just luck
a macro is picking up what would be a visual que faster than the human eye
it's not actually a visual shudder que (which then what is the que to signal a non sweetspot attempt, probably a sound.)
I would check the successfulturn.wav and failedrattle.wav sounds for the beginning of the wave form to see if one has a chirp or click that can be detected by a macro.
Hi! Probably pure luck. Actually I was waiting to see mix, but it’s only one really lucky try.
Watch his channel, There are a few examples of this luck.
I say they add an option to auto lockpick not replace manual but add automatic as an option for normal players to consistently lockpick if they have the resources/fame needed.
What? You talk like you know how the hack works? The hack could simply show him some kind of overlay or guide on where to put the lockpick, and he is just not doing it exactly as guided.
You are all missing the point of CONSISTENCY. Whether its through hours and hours or a pure knack, or even hack. A SMALL group of people are REALLY good at lockpicking.
Most people think its bull and don't even bother, instead beg the devs for explosives, and if someone wants to call out the BS only the lockpickers seem to chime in and say "no its fine".
Because most people ignore anything lockpicking related anyway.
