But since we have masks, snorkels and attachable air tanks (all of which I've used in-game) it is akin to scuba so I used that for convenience. :P
Cheers.
Thanks but are you certain, Bunny. I've used the mask and snorkel with the oxygen bottle equipped and my oxygen level dropped as fast as always.
Well the guy in charge swore on his honor that it is working. :D
I just did a test. With mask, no change. With mask and breathing tube combo, no change. With mask and breathing tube combo and an extra breathing tube (which shouldn't be possible), no change. With mask and breathing tube combo and an attached small oxygen bottle, a TINY change.
The breathing tube alone should make a significant difference. That's the whole point of snorkelling. With an oxygen bottle as well we should be able to stay under for at least 20 minutes.
Cheers.
Thanks for taking the time to test it all and sharing feedback. Want me to slap him or should I just tell him to fix it right away ?
Hmm, the slap is your call but I'd request that if he doesn't get it fixed right away he must name something after me. :)
Drat! Foiled again!
Time for some diving though, it seems. :)
So you're saying it is not SCUBA, but it is SCUBA. Got ya. Yea, a small container with a mask to breathe through while underwater is a self contained underwater breathing apparatus.
Just an FYI. SCUBA tanks are not filled with pure oxygen. They are filled with regular old (filtered) breathing air. 21% O2, 78% nitrogen and about 3% other gases. Oxygen becomes rapidly toxic at depth. Prolonged exposure to pure oxygen below a few metres can kill you. Unless you are a technical diver doing a carefully calculated decompression dive, then you aren't going to be using pure oxygen while SCUBA diving.
And the bump. :P
My reply was posted before he said anything about the small air tank.
A snorkel in no way increases your capacity to stay under water. I simply allows you to swim face down at the surface without holding your breath.
