Saving the daytime and weather in Single Player
Please devs make it possible to save the daytime and the weather when exiting the game and coming back. The reset to morning and bright sun is annoying.

Also please look into the issue with body weight gain. Even though I am eating only fruits and vegetables and drinking water my character is gaining fat and is upping weight with no end in sight.

Please make it possible to make nights darker. Don't do the nights darker as default, because lot of player will complain. Add the possibility to make the nights darker please.

When daytime will be saved and nights will be darker it will be definitely much more a challenge, because you can't skip the nights by simply exiting the game and coming back. Light sources would be a real important issue then. (Also the spawns of puppets at night could be raised, this way the night would become scary.)

This irritates me as well - logging out then back in so I can restart a game with leaks, only to find the day time and weather has totally reset. Not to mention - any airdrop timer has also reset it's 4 hour countdown.

if i remember right they work active on it, but it has only medium priority

Daytime and weather saving are gonna be taken care of, but we have to deal with the priority stuff first. For now, you can use console commands in singleplayer to change the weather and time to the one you prefer, it's not a perfect solution but maybe it will help you for the time being. Open the chat window and type #setweather and follow that with a 1 or a 0 to toggle the rain on or off. Example : #setweather 1

To toggle the different time of the day use the command #settime and follow that up with a number between 0-24 to adjust the time of the day.

All issues concerning the metabolism are gonna get fixed when we finish reworking it ( we've been working on it for the last few months along with the medical skill and diseases implementation ) .

Nights could get darker when we implement flashlights into the game. No promises though.

Yeah, would be great to have that. Now i just, before i quit out, take a look at the time and set it to that whenever i continue the game later. Same with the weather.
Are the drops really 4 hours? I feel like i'm getting them all the time. Or is it in-game time?
I mostly ignore those cause it's too easy imo to get things that way, at least in SP. Almost no risk involved. Now bunkers, they get my weak little heart racing.

Also, +1 to darker nights (and just a bit brighter torches)

I believe its 4 in-game hours for SP (aka 1 RL hour).

Thank you for answering. I would like to set the time with the console command but I don't know what time it is when leaving the game. (I would like to have the watch which is in the supporter pack, but I simply need the watch and no other stuff, so it's too expensive for that. Can I get the watch in another way?)

Setting the weather with console command is not the same. It's 0 or 1 but the weather is different, it's rainy, stormy, cloudy, sunny.... etc. But I'm happy you gonna look into it.

Is there a console command to set the nights darker right now? (Or a change in the .cfg/.ini files?

After reading a lot of posts, I managed to control the metabolism better. I lost some weight and now I am more aware of what to eat. But still it's bugged. Thanks for working on it.

Unfortunately the supporter pack is the only way to get the watch right now.

Also, as far as I know, the night brightness / darkness cannot be adjusted at the moment via the console ( most .cfg / .ini ) changes have been blocked as well since people abused them heavily in the past.

I just finished my water weight removal diet. From 800% to under a 100%. About 30kg lighter now. So there's at least one problem with metabolism. Your body seems to retain almost all the water you consume. Nothing a week with only crackers and whiskey won't fix ;)

Also try to keep your calorie balance more or less equal... EG try to always use up as much calories as you are eating.

Careful with console commands. If a game "hiccup" causes you to get a car stuck on the edge of a cliff in Single Player, using teleport commands to recover from it is tedious to the point that it's useless... and if you try to complain about it, you might get told those commands are intended for admins only!

I was on 2200% water and now dropping slowly to 2100%. I was drinking a lot of water which I thought would help to piss out the sodium, but yeah the metabolism system right now doesn't work properly and instead of pissing the water out, the character retains it and it actually a walking water ball :)

Isn't this a range from 0 to 1? If I use #setweather 0.1 it gets a little darker, and the breeze picks up. Increasing the value it gets a little darker a little windier until at 0.5 it rains lightly. Continuing up to 1 it becomes a full downpour.

isn't there a console command to show the time?

something like #showtime ?
Priest Sep 12, 2019 @ 10:43am
you can orientate at your shadow
The lenght gives you a rough idea about the time, and the direction too.

All you need is to know if it is morning or afternoon

Means you cant know if its 8:00 or 9:00, but you can know a rough value like
Long shadow at sunrise
No shadow midday
Long shadow Sunset

And with a bit experience you will learn it. Helpfull is to ask in the serverchat what time it is until you can read the shadow
