Thats why in SCUM you cant see around the corner/over the wall even if you are in 3rd person camera.
third person is garbage and no solution will fix it. and it doesnt belong in a game that aims to be realistic at all. fu ck bohemia for reinforcing this stupid trend.
That time has been adjusted and will most likely be adjusted again in closed beta. And if you are telling me that from quick peak(in RL) you cant say where people will be in next 1-2seconds then somethings wrong with you.
Why, check any warzone video, you dont just stick your head for 2-3sec around the corner to see if theres someone, you do it as fast as you can. I dont see how ingame representation of that is wrong.
And if you want to "track" them with "wall hack" it will take you few seconds to do that, you need to peek, spot the enemy, center him in your vision and focus.

(or at least knowintg in which direction fire is comin from) right before dying. you dont get that in third person at all.

OK, do this. IRL find a simulair wall if,you don't have one at home, go up to it, move around 3-4 feet in, from the end and maybe 4-5 feet away from it and tell me you can see around the end of that wall? And/or, over it, while crouching down.
The system we implemented works in way that it takes into account the vision range of the player. Items that your character does not see do not render. There is no peeking over walls or anything like that. And if he peeks around the corner and sees someone coming and goes back and waits for them to come closer. (Ill assume you talk about the awareness skill, if the skill is not maxed out the outline will disappear in really really short time).
