Custom units not showing up

I've looked everywhere for a solution for this, but none of them have worked.

Whenever I create a new unit, it does not appear in my custom units tab. I checked the game files and the custom units are still there. I tried verifying integrity of the files, and deleting the mod.io folders but neither worked. I've even uninstalled and installed the game but it didn't work. I am not installed to any custom factions, units, or battles.

As it says in the link, this usually happens when you download or subscribe to a modded unit. You can try to unsubscribe from all items in the workshop (units, campaigns etc.) to make sure that none of the items is causing this bug for you.

Then check your local game files to make sure there are no modded units in your game:

1. Right-click on TABS in your Steam Library > Manage > Browse local files > TotallyAccurateBattleSimulator_Data > CustomContent > CustomUnits.
   
2. Inside CustomUnits there should be one folder for each unit that you've created/downloaded, with a picture of the unit inside the folder. See if you can find any units that have been downloaded from the workshop and delete their folders to remove them from your game.

How do I remove said files? I don't prefer to temper with files without full instructions, because I don't prefer having to remember the pain of temporarily corrupting my Scrap Mechanic files to add special tools to the game. I also don't know how to make a backup.

I know that they gave specific instructions, but said folders do not appear in my folders or files. That is why I am asking this.

Are you having the same problem where you can't see your custom units? If you create a new unit now, are you unable to see it in the Custom Content menu in-game?

Usually the steps from my first link solves this problem, I'm not sure what might be causing it for you. Are you using GeForce NOW perhaps?

I am not using Geforce NOW, but i am using a Geforce RTX 2070 if that means anything. I have figured out that the units still exist in the game, I just need to add them to a faction and I can use them, but I can't edit them. They usually disappear after a day though.

If none of the fixes have worked, there isn't much we can do right now unfortunately. We have a patch coming with bug fixes sometime after the holidays, so hopefully it'll work better for you then.

Uh. It didn't work. Just duped the unit. But, yes, it |I got, not it got the unit, I don't think..|.. got the unit, but just two of it .... .. .. .. .. ..




Also, downloaded units appear, just nothin''g'' else.

If that doesn't work, then we don't have any fix right now but it will hopefully work better after the next update.
