Tip: Creating units that don’t fall.
Just wanted to post how I make units not lose balance and wobble themselves on the ground, which I don’t mind, but I know people wanna know. If you know it already, then congrats.

Assuming the unit is heavy enough to hold their weapon, sometimes they fall due to swinging the weapon around.

To prevent the unit from falling, add the “Crow Wings” ability to your unit. This way, no matter how crazy the unit swings their weapon around, they will remain upright. Even if they rotate at a weird angle, the crow wings will help the units get their balance back.

Note: This does mean the unit losses the ability to gain fall damage and be a bit floatier than usual. But it is a lot better than the hover ability if you just want a unit that sticks to the ground mostly.

Hope this helps you to create your next unit.

interesting, and another thing that makes me hate the scarecrow unit in the campaigns

Forgot to clarify that there is a "Big Crow Wings" ability and "Crow Wings" ability. I think it is easy to tell the difference between the two abilities.

it is but do they really have a difference except being bigger

Yes, they do. The "Big Crow Wings" ability don't allow the custom unit to touch the ground. It is like a mini "Hover" ability. The "Crow Wings" ability lets the unit touch the ground when applied to a custom unit.

I'm new to the game... I'm not even sure what an "Ability" is. Does it involve user-created content? I'm just doing a lot of the first campaign after the tutorial right now, having skipped most of the tutorial. (Maybe the tutorial would have told me... dunno...)

Stuff like the valkyrie wings or the knight dash is considered an ability. You can see all the abilities in the unit creator
