Game doesn't launch with Linux / Proton

I've tried several different proton version and even wine. Nothing works. Not running it with %command% --launcher-skip, %command% -launcher-skip, %command% /nolauncher. How is it possible for you break compatibility so badly? What on earth did you do and why?

i run it with GE 6.5 and no start options, give it some time to start the launcher and then some time to start the game.

Sadly there is no "time to start". It will immediately crash.

Just tested with Proton-6.15-GE-2 - game launcher work and can reset game config just fine (using vulkan render crashes the game). Got weird glitch with double rotating nexus part rendering in first campaign mission but otherwise game runs stable so far - 3+ missions into first campaign using Directx11 render.

What graphics card are you on? I'm on an Nvidia RTX2070 SUPER.

I suppose my problem stems from the StarDock launcher but I can't even get a decent log output with PROTON_LOG=1 %command%.

Any ideas how to debug this?

I can launch the StarDockLaucher.exe with wine-tkg from the command line but only getting a black window (with rounded edges). It even seems to register my mouse clicks since clicking on the top right corner closes the window even though I can't see any buttons there.

Im using rtx2060 on archlinux. On my system launcher is dark shaded but all the buttons visible and work. I dont think launcher is needed for the game except for configuration reset.
According to protondb adding "%command% --launcher-skip" to steam options works but for me it doesnt.
DIrectly at the center of the launcher window is button "Play with mods" - just position cursor at the center of launcher window and click to test if game launches. "Play" button is to the left of it.Move cursor from the center of launcher window around 9 centimeters left and click.
Also i have steam overlay turned off - maybe it affects game launcher in some way.

Mine worked immediately. Using Zorin 16 Pro, and Proton Experimental. 100% flawless. Didn't customize my steam launcher in any other way. Do you have Nvidia proprietary drivers installed? Probably should.
