Ashes of the Singularity: Escalation

View Stats:
Is this game dead?
Checking Steam Chart, it shows an average of 76 players a day over the last 30 days for this game.
I'd say it's time for the Devs to move on.

Never been high, but it's not death.

Failry close to it, IMO the devs should stop doing any more DLC for this game and start doing a WW2 game that can handle vast maps and thousands of units.

Oh I hope not that would be very sad indeed.

The game is doing fine. The player base isn't the largest out there but it is slowly growing.

Well that's good news but I hope they invest all the profit into a new game with the same games engine instead of just bringing out new map DLC which I'm not too bothered about.

well you forget one thing, mod support, the game can be made into close copies of most RTS if people put the effort in, the potenital for ashes is great. Also you want to get the engine for a ww2 game, you can probly mod that in. Also all stardocks games is in space last time I checked, and they are named stardock, also I can make better maps and tag utter can script better senarios, we allready did.....

WW2 is not a time that is adequate for games where you control thousands of units.

WW2 games are more about micro-management than macro-management,
because, like it or not, that war was not won by a huge single blob of soldiers zerging the enemy.

I think Sins was in a similar situation...so maybe its population will grown once the game gets some major content/dlc.

This sounds just like total war, he would been the jerk who would say quit making warhammer, which in my opinion is superior to histroical titels. And only focus on hinstorical. Just he stepped it up to screw every1 who bought the game I want to my own titel that is historical.
