Very true. I logged back in an hour ago and went to one of our bases; I was able to unlock and stack SEVEN trucks into a motorpool. From one base! I also was able to consolidate all kinds of scrap, building materials, fuel, sulfur, and even a HOWTZER into one full truckload of stuff.
Hell, someone even locked and abandonned a fully fuelled and armed tank way in the back.
When targeting at an enemy, make sure the small white circle at the end of your firing/target line is on the enemy to ensure you are consistently hitting them. Not every shot will be a direct hit though, sometimes you'll just miss even though your reticule (so to speak) is on them. I assume there is a small random chance of missing just to make the game a little more fun in battles.
If you're looking to getting in to supporting/logistics/building then it as simple as getting in to a truck (build one if you don't have one) and just start harvesting the refined nodes (broken down tanks which you need a sledgehammer for) or the scrap nodes with a regular hammer.
Then ask in team chat who needs what type of mats and where, rinse and repeat. I spent a good 4-5 hours straight after getting the game only doing logistics. Harvest, refine, transport then rinse and repeat. It's a lot of fun knowing you're helping your team and it has it's own personal rewards as everyone loves a good logistics guy, so you'll end up with a ton of commends, leading to a higher level/rank.
Another good way to support your team (when the fronts are quiet, or even the server is) is to build up a large stockpile of equipment (ammo, weapons, first aid kits, SS, everything etc.) at the Town Halls or FOBs where your teams troops will be spawning, when the fighting does break out. It'll give your side a good buffer to play with during an intense fight rather than having to worry about running a constant supply line during a fight.
It also ensure all newcomers who spawn in or respawn have access to anything they might need without having to resort to backtracking to other FOBs for their gear then returning to the front lines.
Nothing worse than an enemy tank/halftrack showing up to the front lines but all your RPGs and shells are two towns back at HQ, rather than at hand where the action is.
