Down Under Scenario: Requirements for President Rating

Hi Guys,
I'm playing the down under scenario and it's going pretty well so far. Unfortunately, I got one green checkmark recently and I'm wondering if I still can achieve president rating since there is no rating boost without competitors.

As for Pioneering Spirit scenario (if I got the name right), there are two things to mention:
- If your green mark was not on the last page of scenario tasks, it has no effect on the final ratings, so don't worry.
- If you are playing on anything else but Trainiac Pause Mode - sorry, you will have to restart the scenario and use Trainiac Pause Mode, otherwise you won't get President even if everything else was done perfectly.

I did the scenario from the Great Lakes DLC recently. It had several pages of tasks. I got some green ones on the first page so was wondering the same thing about the President rating. I continue through and, as I say, it had 4 pages of tasks in total. Anyway, once I finished it did pop up the President rating. When I looked at the details it appeared that it only counted the last page task towards the rating. I gold starred all them, so got the President rating.

Maybe the Down Under DLC will also only use the last page for the rating.

if there is someone here on this forum, who played Down Under with normal mode (so not
with Traniac mode) and got an president rating?

I managed eventually to get the president rating in the down under scenario under
Traniac mode, and got the 'over-koala-fied' trophy for 'reaching the rank of
President in the 'pioneering spirit' scenario.

i played the Pioneering spirit around 6 times over several months with all the modes set to there highest. Apart from having Train lac.

on my last run i earned a gold tick on EVERY objective, it was stressful. i still didn't get president rating.

i then looked up to see if it was a bug an noticed you needed to to turn train lac on. so i took a break by playing another scenario.
i came back to Pioneering spirit an set train lac mode on.

got President rating at first attempt >.<

wish i had known about the "train lac" setting sooner for Down under.

How to do this 'train lac' ?

ChrizzyP, i understand you got a president rating as well for the down
under scenario; congrats for you too.

I was not used to play in the trainiac mode, but it was not so hard as
i expected. I reached the mentioned trophy also at the first attempt.
I must say, it helped, that i had several attempts earlier in this scenario under normal
mode, so I was prepared how to do it.

Also noticable how 'replayable' this game is, so many different ways
to play a certain scenario.

Down under is tough, in my opinion play it and note the group of goals down and next time plan for them in advance ( especially when expanding in the center) to pool ressources.

hi, not yet, but really close. finished couple of times near it. Honestly this is a very long one and i play this for fun mostly. I mentioned that I lose time when getting nerw goals ( especially in the midlle when needing to create steel).
Actually have all the dlcs and lets say 90% president ratio.

Normally you can get multipliers for the challenging competitiors, but here you cant, so only way is not get result mulitpliers with the Trainiac.
