6 hours, then delete?
Is there any replay value?

'How long To Beat It' says 6 hours is the average playthrough legth, and up to 16 hours for a 100% completionist playthrough.

Multiplayer appears to be garbage.

So, is there anything that would allow multiple playthroughs? Or is it just the same story with a few difficulty levels?

$6 for 6 hours... not sure if its worth it.

i wouldnt say that the multiplayer is complete garbage but since the game as come out a while back there are more good players that average ones so its kinda dificult but the campaing is worth it because at the begining its just a normal third person shooter story but a bit before the middle the story becomes really intersting and the ending its just crazy and wtf at the same time because the crazy story starts right at the begining but you dont realize it

The fact that it's short is more a thing of pacing - it's certainly better than padding the game with a dull moment or two. The story however is quite worth the money - in fact it's probably worth it at full price as well.

It's a top-notch experience that far outdoes any other shooter in recent years.

It's currently cheaper than a DVD. It's an incredibly good experience. Sure it's shorter than a lot of games. But this is a game that you will remeber for quite a while, most games you forget about them as soon as you stop playing.

Its worth it! Every houre, every minute!

I've not decided to reply it myself yet, so I'm not sure on how it goes for replayability, but this game has one of the best, if not the best, stories of any game I have played in my lifetime, it nearly bought a tear to my eye by the end of it, I would say it is well worth the current asking price, whether its replayable or not

idunno about that. It's a pretty standard Heart of Darkness style plot. The gameplay itself is pretty ♥♥♥♥, but the writing is fantastic and it's an ever-escalating ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

If you know what you're doing, the game can easily be finished in 4 hours. It's not a long game. It's a nice experience, and very much worth the sale price. Maybe not full price, though.

It's definitely one of those games that you play, then replay a few years later- replaying it right after playing is just not fun at all.

I assure you beating FUBAR will take you much longer than 16 hours total playtime. FUBAR changes gameplay alot. This game is definatly worth the price.

If you have seen Fight Club and Apocalypse Now then you might want to skip this game.
Nothing new to be seen here...
+ for trying though @ devs.
I still prefer Binary Domain. Better dialogues and better gameplay.

The hardest difficulty is fun (in a masochistic way), and will take longer than 6 hours. It's possibly worth a second playthrough, because there are things you might look at differently once you know how it ends.
I paid full price for this game, and was absolutely blown away. It was well worth the money. The shooting is solid, but not groundbreaking, but the story... The story was one of those rare games that stuck with me really deeply for a long time.
$6 is a steal.

The game has multiple endings, so I guess it has some replay value; the game won't have nearly as much of an impact the second time, but just like with movies like Fight Club you'll see things differently the second time around. That said, you might also find many frustrations that someone would do if they played a game like Tell Tale's The Walking Dead, since most decisions are an illusion.

The gameplay itself is pretty generic, but it's solid and fits well with the story. I still think this game will make anyone that loves good stories in video game cover their walls in spunk, but maybe that's just me.

I haven't played the multiplayer, but I heard it's crap. As far as I know, the devs had to include it because some publisher suit wanted it there. I think it was even outsorced to some other company.
Replay value is non-existent. Entirely story-based game and 100% linear
It's on sale now, so you pay like 1 buck for an hour - I'd suggest you get it. If you're playing a lot of (3rd person) shooters, then you might find the mechanics boring, but it's the best story I've seen in a shooter so far. Although if you've read a lot of books (especially heart of darkness), you probably know better story-telling :) But it's still a big difference between reading and being in the middle of it.
Any game at this price is really low risk with a ( potential ) high pay off in the fun department, just sayin. I so wanted to like this game, but couldn't cuz it was all about the story really.
