However, that doesn't mean it'll instantly be good. I'm keeping my expectations low--somewhere around AC6 level.
Yeah, that was the biggest issue. "Am i allowed to kill him yet?" was a common question from myself during those.
Also i love how attackers sometimes fly underground causing you to crash if you are chasing them
Sort of like the exact opposite of what Obsidian did with Fallout New Vegas.
The only differing dev teams are the portable games--which a majority of them are created by Access Games.
Like how you could blow through it in a couple hours because it has no content? A reviewer literally called it, "call of duty in the air". I think this reviewer was trying to make it sound cool, but it's just a real easy way of saying flashy but empty.
You may have hated dogfight mode, but who remembers bombing run mode, eh? Turn bombing targets into a mobile game in terms of mechanics, basically.
Then there was the turret missions, which looked cool graically at first, at least to me, but ended up just feeling like filler.
Also, let's not forget the biggest crime of all: No boss fights against superweapons. No giant flying airplanes with aircraft landing strips on them, no giant kill sats you gotta dodge debris while you shoot, no giant sword laser things, and certainly no special ace squadrons that pick fights with you.
also didnt mind the ac130 stuff.
so basically im saying i think the idea of doing different military things other than shooting stuff with jets was solid, it was how it was implemented was the issue.
looking back at acah and all its floors, would the game be better if dogfight mode was left out, i think most would say yeah
