I love how like pretty much all the negative reviews are from people who dont know how to read and are complaining about not being able to use thier joysticks and stuff...when its litterally...just a bug....so they are bombing an entire game over a bug because they cant use there personal space shuttle setups...

Thrustmaster has confirmed that the only supported flightsticks are the branded AC7 ones. the bug was those sticks not working.

Yeah it's not a bug it's anti-consumer business practices. I'd rather it was a bug that they were too lazy to fix rather than a deliberate restriction to force me to buy an inferior hotas.

Yeah, uh, they added that dislclaimer about the hotas support to the page Febuary 1st at 3:37 PM. IE *after* a whole bunch of people bought it expecting HOTAS support.

It's also not just a big, we have official word on the store page and via twitter, they only intend to support those 4 specific models and nothing else, which leaves most HOTAS owners out.

not many games these days run those..yeah i jknow its a flight sim but a controller works just as good..i bought myself a joystick along time ago...and ive never used it...it was a waste of money

It's not a bug, they intentionally locked out all other sticks from use to force you to use theirs which takes more effort than just allowing people to use their own sticks.

and i suppose this one thing warrants the company to break then? yet im sure anthem and ea are ok..or bethesda....or you know any of those companies..atleast this one isnt full og micro transactions and series SERIES anti consumer business ♥♥♥♥ like all the others are...so you cant use your joystick..welcome to like 80 or 90% of all freaking games.

Actually its the opposite. Most games support them because of in built libraries of support over the years. As an example UE4 (what ace combat 7 is built on) out of the box supports almost all hotus controllers. Thus bandainamco went out of there way to block support for them.

Yeah, lots of people EXPECTED something that was never even specified by the developers.

Then they tantrum when they find out it wasn't supported after all *gasp*.

At this point, i only have this to say:

If we're still getting Code Vein on PC, i will just be grateful. I have no interest in soulsalike games whatsoever and it can be the absolute worst port for all i care. If the developers are willing to support the PC platform when we least deserve it, then why shouldn't I be grateful?

If you enjoy the game why attack others who don't? Its is a perfectly reasonable expectation to have that a flight game support flight sticks. I just don't understand all the hate coming from people who actually like the game.

the type of gamer that this game appeals to would have a high chance of having a HOTAS of some type, or even just a flight stick. so this game will have a higher amount of people that are effected by it. and while you seem to not use your stick, that is not the case for alot of us, i use mine on a whole host of games (Elite, Arma 3, IL-2, War Thunder, Mech warrior, the list goes on) so it's not a waste for most of us.

but the main thing is that at no point in the lead up to this games PC release did they inform us that only their sticks would be supported, and at no point did they inform us that Ultrawide would not be support, or that even using your mouse in ANY of the menus would not be supported. they half assed the port and now people are letting them know why.

im not hating im just upset that this review bomb is destroying the game before it even gets off the ground your saying we are hating but look at the reviews damn near every negative review is about this.. if they keep this up there will be no ace combat 8 for pc.

The fans been waiting over a decade for this game. It was worth it.

Clearly this game wasn't made for you.
