How to Disable in-game Voice Comms
In Audio settings, I cannot find a way to disable the Voice Comms, which appears to be completely OPEN MIC (broadcasting all the time). I use Team Speak for voice comms, and on a 'push to talk' basis. It's NOT Steam voice comms (that is set to push to talk, but I don't use it). Anyone know? I've tried Googling the subject, and not found any help at all.

The voice is channelled through the steam settings this you can disable. Unfortunatly this ties into your system settings which in turn means you can either have it on or off. It is very frustrating. Likewise the Push to Talk option does not appear to work on Steam for this game.

You can try the support options from GBX or PCF to see if there is a remedy for this.

Its not just you mate, we are all in the same boat.

You may lower in game sounds completely down, then it won't interfere with another voice-comms software.

Does not really work when your using a headset, plus also as soon as you speak it triggers the ingame mic.

Hm, me and a friend run Discord voice chat with no sounds in the game, both using headphones. I don't remember hearing much of echoes or other sounds.

In the older version of Bullet Storm, there was a way to disable the in-game voice comms. I remember the echo, and how we fixed it. In this version (Full Clip), it's utterly stupid that anyone would leave in the OPEN MIC voice comms, without having the option to DISABLE. Especially considering gamers have their own preference for Team Speak, or Discord (or whatever else is out there).

I think that the dev team took a shortcut with the sound system to keep costs down and used steams own system, unfortunately it looks like they did not implement it well to at least have a toggle option.

First line of support directed me to the steam sound options, had no effect ingame, I could control the sound as was indicated by the mic test, but the mic remained always on no matter what option was selected for ingame play.

We'll see what their next response is.

Edit:
More in depth guide to the steam sound options, still no effect, they have said their team is investigating but I have heard this line before, however we'll see what they come up with. For now the advice was to disable the mic, not great advice.

Was this Anarchy mode or the single player?

Anarchy, I believe, the one where you do cooperative team-kills with a partner and together reach 40,000 score.

Well I have had this issue for a while now so we'll see what the support has

Edit: Bugger all it seems, they just went and closed the ticket because they ran out of options.... I'll try PCF and see if they have anything....

Just an update, no word from PCF and I had high hopes as well. They are a shadow of what they used to be
