So how are the sales for this game?
Gearbox said they'd definitley work on a sequel is this game sold well, and since it's release I couldn't find any news surpassing it's release. So what's going to be the future of this franchise?

Dead, at least for now, we might see a resurgence when the price comes down and denuvo gets taken off, but until then can't expect anything more from this francise.

Also take anything GBX says with a grain (or more) of salt, they said that to try and sell more copies.

It has cleared 100 players, one time since its opening month.
We don't have numbers on console disc sales, but the fact that places like Best Buy have been running 50% off specials on it doesn't bode well.

The "franchise" was dead before this game.
It remains dead.

when you run such and obvious scam people are going to notice claim its reskin (original looks better)removed GFWL (there was a fix in original games forums to remove it). ps..and they removed original game that was 15 dollars just before the release of this.yeah..kinda smellls of rotten money grab!!!! and steam obviously was lying in bed with them on this one i personally am glad to see it crash and burn.with such bull surrounding this release.

He's just full of ♥♥♥♥, don't listen. At this point, anything that had GFWL deserves a re-release, and if the thinks the original looks better with it's poopy brown coloring and 1080p maximum resolution, let him kill his ♥♥♥♥.

steam took original game off of steam just before release.ask yourself why?

They killed the franchise as soon as they released a game 80% done from yrs ago as a full priced release.
Many people who wouldnt have mined taking the game for a spin again if it was appropriately priced. It wasnt.
On top of that it leaves a foul taste. It's on sale atm. I wont be picking it up. They had their first impression and they failed.

Steam only does what is asked of it. Not, give me 5mil and it make this game disappear....

GBX has no control over the Original, People can Fly took down the Original.

Ahh, I was blaming Gearbox due to the Duke Nukem Shoehorn. It's actually not bad, but remember when that stuff was free in games? At some times, I prefer the Steve Blum voice.

However, I like how Duke refrains from talking about killing Triska "we need her alive!" "Who said anything about killing a babe!?", it feels like one of those celebrity YouTube things where someone voices over and pretends to be a different character.

Duke in the game has no idea why he is there, although it is refreshing to have in this game, it only adds so much.

Still at least the lip syncing has been fixed

PCF took it down
because PCF knew they couldn't sell this for $50 if there was a $20 version out there.
That said it is common practice.
You cannot buy the original Arkham Asylum or City you can only buy the GOTY versions.
Not sure for PC, but for the new gen you can only get the "legendary' edtion of skyrim.
You can't purchase the original Black Isle D&D games off of GOG anymore (except for NWN cause they haven't EE'd it yet as far as I know)

EDIT: justchecked skyrim. It's the Special Edition now for all platforms its still for sale.

It's been Special Edition from the beginning, the selling point is that you can return to Skyrim with better, modern graphics, you get mods on consoles, a 64-bit engine, and it includes all the original DLC

Also, there are no plans to remove Oldrim at this time, so you can still play it

I don't understand your point
You can still play old Bulletstorm too. You just can't buy it anymore.
