People will usually blindly buy anything that's "remastered", also the Duke DLC was Gearbox's bait. It actually worked too.

Opened Steam store fully expecting to pay $20 for this. Saw $50 price and added to Wishlist purgatory, hoping for $20 sale someday. Price is going to inhibit sales and cause ill will imo.

The fact you had to take time out of your day to complain about something doesn't affect you in any way except for appearing on the Steam Store says enough.

Me? I bought the game because the $5 version is bust on my system (as in, black textures, GFWL fix not working, etc.) and I like how the upgrades sound.

Edit: Plus chance for Bulletstorm 2.

Difference between this and No Man's Sky is that that game has been out for years and it's easy to look at videos or reviews to see what Bulletstorm really is. If you mean didn't see the $4.99 price tag, maybe people just want to support the devs and/or play as Duke Nukem. And for some people it's the first time playing Bulletstorm anyways.

I do agree that this remaster is a tad expensive... I mean, when capcom remaster their games, they were $25 at launch. Remastering titles always seem to be a low effort method for profit imo...

I bought the game because I never played the original, I don't agree with the price, but hey I guess I'm a bit of a masochist.

Why not buying the original for 5$?
