Perhaps at a price tag of around <5$ for owners of the original game.
Don't let the trailer(s) fool you.
Last time, the ammo in the clip has been half filled. Hence half the price.
The whole thing stinks of a cash grab.
That's Gearbox for ya.
Duke can have my cash anyday!
+1000
Every one of these threads asking what the actual "changes" are just get filled with the tin-foil hat "IT'S NOT CHANGED LOL, CASHGRAB" drones that don't understand that Gearbox are the publisher, not the developer on this one.
Like, we know they changed stuff, don't preach that ♥♥♥♥ to me, just tell me what really changed.
They wrote this on their dev blog.
So we're paying almost FULL price for a game with a new coat of paint? (which isn't even that good on top of that)
While almost EVERY other re-release or HD remaster has been anywhere between $20-40 MAX.
And typically the $40 one tends to be a bundle of games, not just...ONE game.
I'm becoming so sick of cash grabs and the idiots who buy into this crap like fools.
You're NEVER going to get treated with respect or get what you actually paid for, until you start talking with your wallet.
Otherwise to them, buying stuff like this, just clearly says "we can get away with this, so let's see how much more we can get away with!" and they'll continue to keep taking an inch at a time.
Which they have been doing for years now...to the point where gamers 6 years ago would be scoffing at the thought of something like this, and gamers now just look and mostly go "oh well".
The divide from the nickle and dime nonsense they pulled then is nothing compared to what they try now...and that's all because they've continued "reaching" their hands out further and further. Inch by inch.
