So... what's the difference?
- Between the Original? Well, that's a decent game with a lot's of (weird ^^) humor... But 40 bucks for a game I allready own?

It doesn't seem to be worth it at all.
Perhaps at a price tag of around <5$ for owners of the original game.

Don't let the trailer(s) fool you.

Same here.

It's definately not worth it. This crap is 55CAN$, almost 50% higher than the original on freaking release.

Not to mention that the Duke Nukem model from Duke Nukem Forever that looks like babies first mod will cost extra if you don't pre-order...

Because this time it's the full clip edition.
Last time, the ammo in the clip has been half filled. Hence half the price.

The whole thing stinks of a cash grab.

You'll never get an answer.
Every one of these threads asking what the actual "changes" are just get filled with the tin-foil hat "IT'S NOT CHANGED LOL, CASHGRAB" drones that don't understand that Gearbox are the publisher, not the developer on this one.

Like, we know they changed stuff, don't preach that ♥♥♥♥ to me, just tell me what really changed.

"Finally, we can present players with the game in the form that we had originally envisioned it. We always had to create great art and then reverse engineer it to run on different platforms. Now with the capabilities of current hardware, we can bring it back to its original glory. We can now use the originally created high-detailed models, shaders and textures to create seamless gameplay that won’t break the immersion. Finally, we were also able to upgrade post-processing so that the game looks as we always wanted it to."

Blah Blah Blah Yada Yada Nonsense give us your money you braindead morons, I'm a giant crook and a ♥♥♥♥, too.
Capitalism 101.
It really makes ZERO sense...even more so for PC players.

So we're paying almost FULL price for a game with a new coat of paint? (which isn't even that good on top of that)
While almost EVERY other re-release or HD remaster has been anywhere between $20-40 MAX.
And typically the $40 one tends to be a bundle of games, not just...ONE game.

I'm becoming so sick of cash grabs and the idiots who buy into this crap like fools.
You're NEVER going to get treated with respect or get what you actually paid for, until you start talking with your wallet.
Otherwise to them, buying stuff like this, just clearly says "we can get away with this, so let's see how much more we can get away with!" and they'll continue to keep taking an inch at a time.
Which they have been doing for years now...to the point where gamers 6 years ago would be scoffing at the thought of something like this, and gamers now just look and mostly go "oh well".
The divide from the nickle and dime nonsense they pulled then is nothing compared to what they try now...and that's all because they've continued "reaching" their hands out further and further. Inch by inch.
