Offline and private servers

Hi, i do like to know if this game have or not a way to play with a few people... i ve been reading and find that it have in the past a way to play in private servers, i know the game is long and etc.. but take a look at project zomboid and its something like that, that im looking for, can i bet on this game?

There are only official server available. No private server creation option. If you a fine playing with all other players - you are welcomed. If you one of those who want single player in MMO - there is no opportunity left for that.

Unfortunately a change they made just before the game came out even with a lot of people wanting to create a server with their friends/clan mates.

They have casual servers for noobs. PvP casual. But the real fun is in PvP hardcore. MMO singleplayer really?

Project zomboid has always been advertised as singleplayer with multiplayer option...

Thats the point! online with lots of people or solo, cool thing to look foward, im not trying to compare , im just showing to the guy that asked me a question, that yes! its possible a mmo and single player game (a good game)

you had singleplayer though player hosted dedicated server or summit but then removed it for the extra cash to rent servers or something. Im not into the whole join offical servers and prefer a private server i can host myself would be all over this if that was the case.

Im sure there is someone out there that will make it possible to have a private server at no cost, its like the game EA had battleforge i put alot money into that game for booster packs etc and now game is being remade for free no buying booster etc so i suppose if someone wants to they can get private server and wont cost you anything.

private servers make no sense in this game ..because there are many servers for all player-types. If you have not much time for playing (like me) you can play on casual pvp or pve. Self hostet private servers needs the server-software I think thats the problem..give this software to players you have many hackers in game. (this fail make other games). So give it a try and play :) then you will see that private servers are useless.

well nope alot of games these days have player run servers with dedicated software and they make more sales, im gonna guess here and say they not made much money and thus they removed option to host for free. i myself and others prefer private servers.
