For reals, the game is the same if you just do not use the digital shirt in any of your characters. No mechanics were changed or implemented, no narrative or plot are being introduced.

It's the exact same game with an OPTIONAL item... so just do not use the item.

Because it stands for a real life movement in a fictionnal apocalyptic world where basic survival is everything and in this kind of world nobody cares for your pronoun or skin color. Simple as that.

The shirt just has a piece of art, nothing written on it to directly link to a organization.

But, since the world is fictional, unless there's an already established lore that makes clear the non-existence of such organization or the importance of representation and inclusion in many levels inside this world, there's no reason whatsoever to such not things to be included in the game, now or later.

The symbol is more than clear, doesn't have to be words. A svatsika or a hammer/scythe would be as marked ideologically.

As I said earlier, real life politics don't have anything to do in a game. That could even stand for music bands or brands, always seems out of the place to see them.

Yeah, the symbol as more associated to BLM right now, but it's not BLM exclusive and you can not put the raised first on the same level to a swastika without proving, with facts, that BLM and the Nazi Party are the same thing or, at least, similar.

I would argue the black power fist is worse for two reasons 1: the Nazi symbol is recognised as evil while people try to convince people the black power fist is morally good. 2: The black power fist is a Communist symbol and Communists have killed many times more people then the Nazi's ever did.

I'm getting the vibe that you have trouble accepting reality or have serious reading issues so I'm just gonna remind you that I never compared BLM to nazies. Rosenberg is a decision maker in the BLM organization and a convicted terrorist who would have still been serving time right now, people did loot burn and murder under the proverbial arm of BLM.
