Has anyone noticed that night time last forever! It feels like there is only 5 mins of sunlight then its night time for what feels like half an hour.

Does anyone actually know how long night time is and how long day time is?

I would like to know more if there is a way ro skip time, like in a first game where you could go to sleep via bed, since standing doing nothing at night, whem you cant see a shait, is rather... long...

I haven't payed much attention to it to be honest. I searched online and literally every single answer you find says something completely different so it's a mystery I guess. Some say they timed it at 45 minutes each, so same ratio. Some say devs said 30 minute day, 1 hour 30 minutes night. Some say devs said 1 hour day and 20 minute night. Some say they timed it at 40 minutes each. Some say it's 20 minutes day and 18 minutes night. It's a big pile of confusing information you find when you try googling it. And yes I only looked up answers for State of Decay 2, not the first game.

Its 1 hour of day time, and 1 hour of night time. So each ingame day is 2 hours. However there is dusk and dawn which eat up a portion of both of those hours as well so the Pure dark night is about 45-50 minutes

is there a way to change those setthing , i wish to have longer day time , like 1 hour day time and 10 min night time , 1 hour night time is to long , i get bored to wait inside my base for hour, i only go out a day time , never a night time ,, night time is for sleeping , just like in Dyinglight

Yeah i agree, there needs to be a sleeping mode to pass the night time, i do go out at night but its too difficult to see and i want to see more of the world in the day time.
