lol, chill. All MS Published games are like this, and it's fine. It's related to your Windows account, so you have absolutely nothing to worry about. If you created an Xbox live account at any point from the Xbox 360 onwards, it's that account. It's free. If you bought anything in Windows Store, it's that same account. It's free. Nothing bad will happen lmao

Dude, I created an account on Live to play GTA IV and, suddenly, I couldn't play anymore because of the DRM ♥♥♥♥ that doesn't allow us to play A SINGLE PLAYER in offline mode without connecting to the account. Then I had to create another account to play Mortal Kombat Arcade Collection and I couldn't even change the nickname, I had to play as AphidDinamite or some ♥♥♥♥ like that...

DRM to play a single player game is the stupidiest thing ever and I won't accept that, NEVER. Even worse when we are talking about Microsoft that loves to kill everything old to force players to use they new ♥♥♥♥ , like what they did with GTA IV and Windows 7.

In my point of view, this useless DRM ♥♥♥♥ is to control when you will play or no the game, if they are willing to kill the game so force players to play State of Decay 3, or State of Decay 4, you will have to accept. Microsoft is the worse when we talk about DRM and I already have a Steam Account.

Only works if you linked your windows with the live account otherwise it will present you an empty login screen. I forexample did not link my windows with a live account.
