and when you talk abouth lethal than you will see the best base when you nearly at ending the game, thnx to the tons of freaks in the way and the big masses of plague hearths around every base spot. so lethal and "best base spots" deny each other in terms of how long you will ocupy sayed base slot.
look at the wiki and decide yourself what you deem fitting the most for yourself, not everyone has the same sense of what is good or bad base and mapwise.
That was Drucker County for me. I knew all the shortcuts and special locations, etc.
And each map has at least one decent enough base for late game, some could be considered to be better than others for certain Legacies though.
I would have no clue because I'd just jump in blind and hope that RnGesus treated me nicely in my 1st Lethal run. :) But i can't turn back time, i knew all the starting maps well enough by the time Lethal came out.
Remember, you can watch some youTube tutprial videos, there is some very good content creators with decent vids to help you decide which map you want as your first Lethal experience.
Good luck and have fun.
Scent blockers can be obtained on any map via the biochem mod for the infirmary.
