4 large slots in lumber yard
7 max outposts
How and where do you obtain this. Not talking about heartland.
You can have 7 outposts with maxed command center, the Network antenna, and a Red Talon hacker (you must grind prestige in Daybreak to hire a soldier, the soldier must have a Hacking skill).
10 Survivors can be achieved by helping the "soldier enclave" until you're supposed to return to their base with a soldier who has taken some alone time to think. You can choose to recruit him instead, and they very often have no 5th skill, which makes him very useful. (Also usually very competent otherwise).
Edit: btw, you're not supposed to have so many survivors and so big bases that you simply have the best of everything and can get all the benefits.
Thanks for the advice on the map location, but then that means you have to be dependant on a random chance DLC character inorder to get 7 outposts. So the dissapointment still remains, unless there is some way to rig the spawning.
And 4 large is a good start, but with so many options, still feels very limiting considering how many options we actually have.
Seems pretty redundant for all that though considering the first game was a LOT better at that. I'd think that you'd be somewhat limited to the outposts, but considering how many beds you can actually get, the survivor count is way too small.
I'm a builder, but even then, just thinking about if I were to play another leader, it's really limiting to only have 9 people which means the skills they have limit you to less then half of your base options, especially with so many built ins that some people might find useless (with my sniper tower, why wouldn't I swap my built in watch towers for a kitchen or a farm)
Not asking for all the facilities, asking to be able to make a actual base. It's more for asthetics really. And While character customization would be cool, the randomness of the characters makes sense since it's random people. But they could add a extra mode for when you beat the game, it would let you customize them.
In SoD2, having more than 8 survivors at the base is pretty redundant visually, since there are never more than 7 + you physically present.
the container fort is an exception, all my 12 (11+"me") survivors are visible an fighting. i guess bc of the "castle doctrin"
Ah yes... but those are 3 Bartenders, often with severe drawbacks. Perhaps the 3 whiny "it's your fault that we'd starve to death" guys will also join you if you give them enough food, but they are even more useless.
I guess technically you can have 12 survivors without doing the Builder legacy thing, but not 12 useful ones.
Er no, Boozehounds for sure has a recruit the whole enclave, but so does automechanics and so does The Soldiers.
As well there are special forced join missions such as my brother is a cop.
Any hoot picking up the Soldiers is generally the best you can get in this situation.
Do not recruit the beggars, they often have bad traits and lower than a hundred stam/health
