Dodge and run. You are faster than everything except Ferals, and NPC bullets.
Can't agree more..i tried to outrun 3 ferals once..didn't work out well..
That doesn't work well on nightmare. Individual Zombies will constantly scream if they can't reach you spawning more zombies. Also theres a bug when on top of buildings where zombies can lunge dive grab you from below and it looks like they teleport to your position on the roofs. Ferals can also climb cars and other non ladder accesible areas.
The only thing that I have to kill if it saw me is a feral.
That doesn't work on nightmare, zombies ignore distractions if they are already agroed on to you.
Pretty much... it gets quickly out of control, especialy when you've been "online" for a while and did not kill freaks as they spawned, that and the fact that zombies just spawn so randomly... Kill every zombie in sight, all around you only to find out they keep spawning the moment you stop looking in that direction.
I understand zombies wander alot but it would be nice if there was some sort of timer before they respawn in an area and not just a tiny area around a houses and outposts.
If you are out of option: Dodge out. Keep molotovs and snacks/energy drinks in your backpack, (molotovs are prolly your best silent friend for aoe use).
If they are breathing on your neck then use molotov in front of your feet and continue to dodge out. Keep running to a safe distance and then crouch and sneak away.
This way you get controll over the situation and if you are ok and need to go back you can start it again from a different angle.
// Juggernaut are slow and easy to avoid, keep your distance from it. Screemers can be ignored when you keep moving or target them and gun them down fast. Kite Freaks (Ferals) with you to a more controllable area, kill it there if possible. Bloaders should be your first priority to kill, if you cannot shake it off.
