Adorton Station glitch: Door perma-closed.
I'm at the stage of "A-Hunting We Will Go" requiring me to go to Adorton Station and destroy Jack's DNA. problem is, the door to the main lab is closed. I can find no switch anywhere on the map, and it's happening in True Vault Hunter mode as well as in normal. I'm totally stuck, and if anyone has the solution for this, you'll be my hero.

I'm currently re-installing the game; with any luck, that will fix it.

I wasn't able to fix it; I ended up restarting the character. Hopefully it doesn't break again.

I've got the same problem on PS3 UVHM. Is there any fix yet? Well, obviously not, but has anyone figured out what can be done?

Old.

You mean Adorton Station or the ship? Adorton Station you get the 3 samples and a door opens for next part.

I figured out what the problem was: when you first come in, prior to getting the samples, you are on side A of the door. The fast-travel station is on side B of the door, and if you fast-travel back in before getting the samples, you'll be on the wrong side of the door with no way to open it. Travel back in organically, without fast-travel; it should fix the issue.

Only, there is no fast travel in Adorton Station, there is a door/transition for Scylla's Grove where you go in and one to Hunter;s Grotto where you go out. To get in from the wrong way would require the ability to fly to get up to broken bridge where that is.

edit: unless PS3 is THAT different.

There's definitely FT. I figured it out on my second run-through.

Odd, I have been all over, the door/transition on each end is all the PC has, and new U and no way to get in from other side.

Perhaps there was fast travel just on the other side of one door/transition, and that's what I'm thinking of.
Either way, the problem was getting close enough to trip the fast travel without actually opening the door, and coming in on the other side on subsequent trips.

Guys I figured it out- the Fast Travel Station is on the side with the map exit to Hunter's Grotto. You need to fast travel back to Schlla's Grove and re-enter Ardorton from that side.
