unable to launch games

i am new to owning a computer and know very little when it comes to technology, i have had bl3 gifed to me aswell as i had just purchased bl handsome collection. whenever i try to launch bl3 it will show playing on steam however nothing will appear for me to play the gaem. and similiarly with bl2 whenever i launch the game i am unable to get past the first pop up screen.

if anyone knows a fix that would be much appreciated tia
