MSVCP100.dll now 0xc000007b error
I was playing BL2, logged off. Tried to sign on 30 min later and got the MSVCP100.dll error. After verifying game cache, error did not resolve, so i reinstalled the .net framework along with running windows 10 Updates as well as making sure there were no video card updates as well as uninstalling and reinstalling and trying every C++ redistributable package x86 from 2015 thru to 2010 from the microsoft website. After getting to the 2010 x86 redis package the error changed from MSVCP100.dll error to the 0xc000007b error which i surmise is an error with something above again. Verifying game cache comes up with it saying there is 1 file failed (local log maybe???) and it will be reacquired but does not resolve problem. I have reinstalled the game twice. Any advice would be appreciated. Every other steam game works, no other issues with any other program except BL2.

Uninstall Visual C++ 2012 Redistributables (both x86 and x64) and reinstall them from the following link:

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30679

See how it goes.

As stated above, did not work on the first attempt. I tried again, to no avail. I am open to more suggestions.

Did you make any changes to your computer (updates, software installs etc.) between the time you last played the game and the time you started receiving the errors?

No changes whatsoever. I played, exited. Played 30 min later and received the error.

Strange indeed. Could an update have been installed in that time? Have you verified from the update history?

I don't beleive any updates were installed, but as it happened more than 10 days ago the history is fuzzy as i have been updating a lot to try and resolve this issue. It has been happening with every .net framework game.
BUT..
I did fix it by going to a third party website and downloading ~10 .dll files directly and manually overwriting the windows files.

Glad you got it working! If possible, could you briefly describe the solution so others can refer to it in case they have this strange issue?

May I get the names of them all?
