Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 2 Need help!

Hi, I just purchased the UVHM upgrade pack 2. I have the game and the first UVHM upgrade pack installed. I don't advance levels or earn experience points. The UVHM 2 shows as in my library but "not installed" I can't find any way to install the upgrade! Please Help!

Exit the game.

Go into the Steam Library DLC tab of BL2 (rightclick BL2, then select "View Downloadable Content")

See if the checkbox for the 2nd Upgrade Pack is checked. If it is, uncheck it, restart Steam, then recheck the box. Wait a couple of seconds. If it's not, just check it and wait a moment.

Try it out, make sure you are in UVHM. Because if you happen to use a level 61 in TVHM, you are not gonna level up anytime soon as pretty much everything just gives like 1 XP.

edit: And, to be clear, you looked in the Steam DLC tab, not the in-game DLC tab?
because the ingame one is next to useless, you should generally speaking just ignore that.

On mine, I just go to the library. Below the achievements is a window with DLC. Each DLC item listed has a place to check it, if it is then it is installed.

Another way to check for the installation of the second upgrade pack, is look on the fast travel for Digistruct Peak, if you can go there, it is installed.
