Can't login to SHiFT in-game

I keep getting the following error:

"You already have a profile associated with this Gearbox Software SHiFT account and you cannot be associated with more than one."

I mean, I'm trying to login to my website Shift account, so no ♥♥♥♥ I already have an account?

Yep website is working, issue is I think site has a limit for how many codes you can activate? Not sure how long the cool down is for.

But it's not working that's the thing.

My SHiFT website account was created in 2013 via my email - and it has my Steam account connected, but trying to login to it in-game isn't working.

then don't try logging in in-game.
use the website instead, same results.
