Can I run Borderlands 2 efficiently?
Just wondering before I drop $60 on this game for the PC, will I be able to run it efficiently? Supposedly the recommended requirements are a quad core processor and a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 / ATI Radeon HD 5850 graphics card.

I have a Intel(R) Core(TM) i3 CPU U 330 @ 1.20GHz processor and GeForce GT 335M graphics card. Any comments would be appreciated.

You will be able to run it but you wont be able to run it on the highest settings. So yeah...

You will need to run everything at low settings. It will run on laptops but it really doesn't like them.

Go to greenmangaming and use the 25% voucher code. You'll pay less than $40 to get BL2. GMG is a legit steam games seller

I didnt know they made an i3 at 1.20 Ghz....are you sure you dont mean 2.1? Because my laptop is a 2.10ghz i3 and i run it on that with high textures and game detail, with PhysX on medium.

You'll be able to play the game and at least see what's in front of you, the U3 engine is prettly good at scaling to low-end machines. But if you enjoy playing PC games, I'd put some serious thought into some kind of upgrade. The difference between an I3 and an I5 is really noticable. Get an I7 if you have cash to burn, but a current-gen I5 at the least.

But, be absolutely sure that PhysX is at the lowest possible setting, or else the physics calculations will kill your CPU.

Set all settings to low and use 16xAF. AF is "free", as in does not reduce performance on newer cards. i recommend staying at 1280x720 or less for resolution also. It will run really slow with a 1.2GHz processor as BL2 is really processor dependent. you have a processor and gpu bottleneck so i would recommend getting a gaming laptop with a at least a 560/660m in it if you want to play it decently on a laptop.
