Season Pass -- Mechromancer?

I, too, was confused about exactly what was covered by the BL2 Season Pass. I'll admit that the use of the word "campaigns" in the description is a clue and the lack of "This DLC is included in the Borderlands 2 Season Pass" on the Mechromancer DLC page is probably the final word, but looking at the Season Pass page itself, it really isn't as obvious as some people are claiming.

The description for the Season Pass should say something like:

The Borderlands 2 Season Pass gives you access to:

• Captain Scarlett and her Pirate's Booty
  
• ???
  
• ???
  
• ???

General rule of common sense: If it does not state that something is included, then it probably isn't.

The page also doesn't say it includes the "Captain Scarlett and her Pirate's Booty" DLC, so... fail.

It is perfectly logical for new players to think of the mechromancer as one of the four addons included in the season pass.
It is gearbox's fault for not making it crystal clear so every idiot gets it.

Besides, 'common sense' is a highly subjective and thus controversial term to throw around while arguing. You may want to hit wikipedia and read up on that.

While the mechromancer's exclusion is a clear statement, it does not clearly describe what's actually included.

It seems like gearbox deliberately left some space for interpretation.
Otherwise, they'd just list the content or EXPLICITLY exclude the mech to avoid confusion.
It's gearbox's fault so stop acting like a bunch of 'smartbehinds' and treat your fellow gamers like you yourself expect to be treated - nice.

There's a skill you can get, so that each kill either you or Deathtrap gets, adds like five seconds back onto the timer. Combine that with it's extremely powerful moves (The Stare and Explosive Clap, in particular, do obscene damage, Explosive Clap doing something like 250K AOE damage at later levels) DT can last basically an infinite amount of time, or at least until he dies fighting. Which, if you get the skill to give DT a copy of whatever shield you're wearing when you summon him, is also not likely to happen.

Creature dome can be unlocked with the help of somebody that has it, which isn't the case for the other DLC. In case you want to do this circle of slaughter, ask around for people that have it.

Regardless of the fact that gearbox decided to be nice and allow people who did not pre-order access (free or paid). They're still both pre-order features. Complaining about pre-order stuff not being included in the season pass is a EPIC FAIL in logic.

I would always pay an additional 10$ for extra characters. You get a maximum of about 60-70 hours for the 3 playthroughs, plus an infinite amount of extra time at endgame. So 60-70 to infinite hours of content sounds about worth 10$. If you dont like that then go complain to ben and jerrys icecream, they god 15 minutes of content there for about 10$.

good point mentioning it so others will understand the difference between purchasing the GOTY and purchasing the Season Pass. The differences are already explained in one of the sticky threads. If you want most of everything aside from UVHP 2, the HH packs and the cosmetic packs then the GOTY is what you're looking for.

Lesson here is ALWAYS read the description. And if you still do not understand, then read the sticky thread explaining both Season Pass and GOTY. Or ask us before proceeding to checkout.
