Tipping Moxxi

I know you can get weapons from Moxxi for tipping her a lot (and I've actually done it too) but is there a limit in how many guns she gives (I heard she'd only give 2 but I've received 3 so far) and if I tip her at lvl50 does she give lvl50 guns? Anyone have info on this? (If the lvl of the guns depends on your lvl and she only gives a small amount then I guess you shouldn't tip her until lvl50?)

So here's my understanding of the situation: (1) Moxxi will give you two guns; let's call them Bad (acid) and Good (fire). (2) Moxxi will give you Bad before Good. (3) Moxxi will only give a character Bad once - ever. I got both guns around level 25; since then, I've poured probably $10m into her and only received more Goods. (4) The level of the gun reflects your own but does not necessarily equal it. As I mentioned above, I tipped her for both guns at L25 and got L23 Bad and L22 Good.

My recommendation is to (start a new character and) wait until you're not only 50 but in Playthrough 2.5; everything else in the game - including quests and quest rewards - updates to 50 at this point, so it seems this is your best bet for getting a L50 Good and probably your only bet for getting a L50 Bad.

Also: the Good Touch that she gives out will be leveled according to what main quest you're on, so I hear.

Truth; that sounds about right to me. Either way, I'd shoot for PL2.5 just to force it to 50.

I got the bad (acid) twice and the good once so I wouldn't be so sure about this... After that I haven't given her much though...

The good touch is annoying if you play with controller. The special effect is that scoping turns your rumble on. The joke is that it's Moxxi's favourite gun since it's essentially a vibrator, but it's darn annoying.

If you just keep tipping her $1000, eventually it will stop letting you tip her, and your weapons will start to switch (button is the same for tip and switch). At this point she will give you the weapon. I recieved 2 versions of the good touch and only 1 bad touch throughout my game. So, she will give you higher level versions if you go back later and give her more money.

Yup, I noticed that the guns scale to whatever the level requirement of your current story mission. My friend and I are both level 23, but he is ahead a few story missions, when we tried to get Bads and Goods (Separately in our own games). He got Level 21 guns, and I only got Level 18 guns. I'm not sure if optional missions are also a factor, but I'm pretty confident about the story misisons.

is it 2 per character because i unloaded 100k in true vault mode on my siren and she did not give me a extra gun because the ones i got are both 88 damage and would like higher ones.

Yes later on she gives Lvl50 weapons.

All she gives is all you get tho, theres no variations if any in the weapons she gives. pretty much all the same.

You can milk her for guns and she can milk you of your cash everytime you return to Sanctuary, the weapons do get better and if you have have completed your first run through and are now on True Vault Hunter mode then you should have both bad and good weapons from her at higher levels which is useful as you can swap out the weaker ones and sell them and keep the higher damage ones to continue to play with.

Remember though that you will need to leave Sanctuary and return to ensure you get a result, also keep in mind as has already been said if you use a controller its a complete arse to use unless you knock off rumble as it simply vibrates.

She does give better quest based weapons too, especially if you are on PT2 or 3........

You can get both guns from her as many times as you like. If she goes into the animation with no gun it just means shes bugged out and you gotta restart your game. This happens a lot, but it's still pretty easy to keep both guns up to date throughout the whole game

tried 3 times but still keep getting good touch. basically she stops me says the line but no animation. guess i just go in and out till i get but idk.

You can have the Bad Touch only once for each character, but u can have as mutch as u want of the Good Touch, the good is aways toxic, and u can have the wepons at 100 dolars or like i did 90k, and u can receive a wepon with melee damage. The lvl goes up as o lvl up.
